Wait for a response to your ticket - ensure you have included ALL relevant information (txid, amount, coin, etc). There is a long wait time at the moment, please be patient.

Open a ticket, make sure you have included the TxID or a link to your transaction on a block explorer.

Do not open more then one ticket for the issue.  Wait for a response.  These forums are not for individual support.

Hello,

Did the same thing and raised a ticket, "ReddCoin" and "RedCoin" are likely to mislead.

The two coins have the same addressing system aswell which means the coins can be recovered.

I'm not sure what the process of recovery is but I saw a post that says there is a $1000 fee for cross chain recovery

which would be unreasonable due to the compatibility of these two blockchains and it's not entirely the customer's fault

given the similarity in naming. If we can't get our coins back at a reasonable cost then the last option would be to file

to recover mislaid property in NZ.

Regards,

Greg.

It's been 10 days for me and no response. The form said minimum 12 day wait but I suspect it will be longer.

Cryptopia has accepted responsibility in tweets and announcements for some of the problems. Which is

strange because in the crypto world it's possible to identify a problem, tokenize a solution and make millions

from people who will buy into it even though they never read the whitepaper. We need better deposit systems.

Form validation has been standard on the web for years. Enter Credit Card details and forget the expiry date then it

won't let you spend. In the crypto world if you forget something before pressing send your money will be stuck in the

void with little chance of ever getting it back.
