Curious case of a missing Ethereum deposit

I made a deposit on the 4th of December. The transaction was successful and since then confirmed some 80k times as you can see on etherscan.io#/tx/0xbbd7...

Yet the coins have not been deposited to my cryptopia eth address. Yup, that's 14 days and counting 😱

I've opened a few tickets but (#62618, #71878) but only got some generic response "The Ethereum network is currently experiencing a backlog, due to a very popular ICO" and "While the network issues and backlog are out of Cryptopia's control, we are working hard to try and ensure withdrawals and deposits are cleared as soon as possible, but in the meantime the wallets have been put into maintenance in order to mitigate the snowball effect of this event.".

I don't mind waiting, especially since then the price has gone up :) but just wanted to see if there's anyone else with the same problem.

regards,
Milan

Your etherscan shows it was sent as a contract.

When you go to your Ethereum wallet address it states in bigh bold letters:

Deposits from contracts currently unsupported
Please deposit directly from your account address.

You will need to open a support ticket with them to get them to process it manually.

Hi,

I too am having deposit problems transferring ETH from my ledger wallet. I'm assuming that "contract" means transferring funds off an exchange account, plz correct me if wrong.

When I successfully copy/paste the receivng address using Chrome (doesn't work in Edge), when I hit send I get a red banner with "invalid' "iban",.

Does this mean my state (New York) or country (U.S) can't participate on Cryptopia? Plz advise as youre the only exchange handling a coin I seek, Thank you.

I have the exact same issue :( I opened a support ticket but haven't gotten a response. I will update this response if I ever get my $500 back.

I have the same problem. Submitted a support ticket 16 days ago, still no reply. Did anyone get their money back yet after this issue?
