My 11.1 ETH sent from Coinbase never arrived... Someone help.
Same issue, from imToken. There's meant to be some issue because of Cryptokitty but then if you click on Coininfo there are no connections for Ethereum. I logged a support request which is now not showing either so not sure what's going on. It had mentioned in the Coininfo page early morning that there was maintenance going on and backlog being cleared but that is now showing ok with no transaction received.
Wheres my ether????
ztheman359: 12/7/2017 3:25:09 AMMy 11.1 ETH sent from Coinbase never arrived... Someone help.
I have exactly the same problem.I did transfer eth from coinbase yesterday and I don't see it yet?!
Same problem as well Coinbase to cryptopia .. ETH confirmed 201 times not money or deposit history shows
I too am missing a deposit. I sent a small amount of BTC from Coinbase for a test deposit...no more than $10.00 USD. That test deposit made it just fine within a few hours. I subsequently engaged in sending a larger deposit, about .098 BTC / $1200 USD .... almost 24 hours ago and still no deposit. Coinbase confirms BTC was sent. What gives? Is this typical? BTC went from approx $12,800 USD to over $14,000 today...that $1200 I sent last night is just "Poof!!!"
In the fiat $ world, this would be a breach of "Fiduciary Responsibility" ... trades are effected immediately. A breach of "Fiduciary Responsibility" is punishable by fines, ban from the markets, jail...etc. I'm shocked at the unprofessionalism in this environment. Fiat $ seems to be a lot safer and a lot more straight forward. I really fear I have lost my money. My trust factor for these opportunities just hit the floor.
If anyone can offer any insight, I sure would appreciate it. Does it normally take a number of days for a deposit to show? Please tell me it does!
Thanks so much for considering a reply! Cheers and better luck to all!

I can only symphathize with your feelings ang logic. To answer your question - crypto transfers usually take seconds up to a couple of minutes to be registered on a wallet, being recorded on a block at the public ledger. From there on, exchanges themselves require between 6 and 20 more blocks to be recorded on top of your ledger entry - thus confirming the transaction by more nodes, ensuring it was not fraudulent. More confirmations = more security that the spending/transfer was real. This in itself can take between 10 minutes and 2 hours, depending on network load. During this time you can monitor the transaction on the block chain through the so called "block explorer" where you enter your transaction ID and see the number of confirmations it had.
With the case in Cryptopia however, the staff are using child-like excuses counting on the vast incompetence of people and currently are trying to blame missing deposits on a congestion on the Ethereum network. Cryptopia staff say that the Ethereum network is at fault here, and that your transactions are not processed by the Ethereum network itself due to a large number of transactions stuck in a backlog and not being processed at all. Hence, they say, your deposit is not yours to trade with, because - as per their excuse - it was never delievered by the network to them - so they can't let you have it to use. This however is a blatant lie in most cases, because in reality any person with basic crypto understanding and basic technical ability to use the internet can get the transaction ID of their deposit - put it in a block explorer such as http://etherchain.org/ (for ETH) or blockchain.info (for BTC) and see that their deposit has been processed by the network, it was recorded in a block - put on the blockchain and confirmed a number of times already. You can also easily see that the ETH you transferred from your origination wallet has been delivered and is sitting in Cryptopia's wallet. They HAVE your ETH, they are just not giving it to you. The problem here is with Cryoptopia, but they won't admit it. Or they don't understand where it is. Obviously if your deposit is confirmed on the network a number of times, it's not the network's problem.
I can recommend you use more technically advanced and professionally superior exchange in the future, such as Bittrex. Cryptopia is more of an amateurish place where staff would use childlike excuses, blame someone else and mass-close support requests without trying to understand the problem. I've lost money just like you did and I'm no less frustrated at that. Nobody is going to punish Cryptopia for this unporessionalism, but us the users - by abandoning this exchange for its failure to operate with integrity.

Hi all, has anyone has any luck with their transfers? I've checked Etherscan and it's supposedly processed yesterday and as per CyberKristiyan it seems to be an issue on Cryptopia side. I've shared my txhash details to them and pending a reply because they closed my original support request despite there being no actual resolution.
I'm not sure whether the 0 connections for ETH under coininfo affects the 17 confirmations required before crediting to our accounts, but there have been 0 connections since yesterday so that could be a factor. Seems like that would be easy for them to confrim rather than the boiler plate message i received yesterday. Did anyone else also get a message about BTC? Despite my support request explicitly mentioning ETH I was sent something referring to BTC!?
The amount was sent from Coinbase. I´ve sent other ETH to other exchanges -> no problems!
The Same Here !!!

poor service
Cryptopia doesn't accept ETH transfers from other exchanges apparently.
There's a notice at the top that says "Deposits from contracts currently unsupported
Please deposit directly from your account address."
Soooo, my .3 ETH is just gone forever?
