Dear Cryptopia team,

I have set up Google Authenticator code for withdrawal two factor in tab Security, with my Android phone. Then I want to change to another two factor security type (e.g: Pin Number). Unfortunately, when I have entered Google Authenticator code from my phone, the system showed "Incorrect TFA code".

Although double checked the time sync, the problem wasn't resolved.

Please take a look and solve my problem.

Thanks!

The Forums are not the place to resolve this issue.  You MUST contact support. https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Support

Check again that your time is accurate, and that you selecting the correct 2FA for Cryptopia and not another site you might use before contacting support and then follow the instructions they will provide you with.

Thanks for your guide.

I created a support ticket 2 days ago but no response.

Yesterday I sent a message via "Contact Us" but still no response.

So I have to create a thread here, hope the support team can see and resolve my problem.

Note that I have checked my clock many times, also restarted my phone and my laptop many times, and, sure 100% that's 2FA for Cryptopia, not another site (couldn't make this stupid mistake).

Until now there's no response from support team :(

Make sure the time is synced on your device BEFORE generating a code,  then when get the code you should enter the code immediately, or generate a new code if more then 15 seconds has passed.  The time must be accurate on your device so that the correct code is given, to ensure it is accurate you should sync the time on your device.

If your using an Android device, here are instructions from Google on how to sync your time.

https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/185834

My Google Authenticator codes aren’t working (Android)

This might be because the time on your Google Authenticator app is not synced correctly.

To make sure that you have the correct time:

  1. Go to the main menu on the Google Authenticator app
  2. Tap More Moreand then Settings.
  3. Tap Time correction for codes
  4. Tap Sync now

On the next screen, the app will confirm that the time has been synced, and you should now be able to use your verification codes to sign in. The sync will only affect the internal time of your Google Authenticator app, and will not change your device’s Date & Time settings.

I have the same problem, 2 F need to be reseted as promised, but now waiting 5 days already.

very disappointing, even couldn’t trade and already have lost money😒

I am really wondering why is that, not enough people working at Cryptopia?

Actually the first respond was even on last Sunday to ask for my account details to clarify my identity which is fine.

But since then? Nothing happen.

Dear Mr.Floppy,

Could you please tell us who we should contact if there is no respond from support as well as not from the contact information?

May I know whether this is the normal procedure to thread your customers like this?

As a previous person mentioned where to complain if not here?

Your feedback would be highly appreciated!

Thanks.
