CORGI DICE!

Just trolling through the forum and found this link, a big thank you to Crunk for creating corgi dice, and David123 for drawing it to our attention.

It's a community venture for sure.

corgi corgi corgi!

I think Crunck might have been given that script by me!

In return for favours (not sexual), more  cryptominingy.

I promised the wheel to Corgi, but I can't find the post.

MinerFTW has just shown this link, it is the new corgi wallet in development :)

notes1: 9/13/2015 2:31:15 PM

 My honest opinion is that the wallet should not be colored orange, it's hard on the eyes to look at and from a emotional standpoint it represents crazy, if you were to go to a mental hospital you certainly wouldn't see any of the color orange around, because the energy behind it. I have support from at least one other person on IRC who saw the wallet update and agreed with what I said. Any other color but neon green and orange on the background of the wallet would be better. Grey, white, light blue, or some other color then orange for the background color of the wallet would be better.

 cant agree more... That orange just looks crazy and cheap.

Maybe you should upgrade the logo aswell.

Maybe with a reallife pic or atleast a better one.

I like the new face of corgi, happy and friendly right there.

lots of effort put into that for sure, mucho appreciated.

now for my input without meaning to insult anybody, if it was possible to see how it looked, I would like to see that face fill most of the coin with corgicoin logo underneath the head/face, the body and feet are great but not exactly needed in my humble opinion. If it was just the face on the coin it would be easily visible amongst a list of coins.

That was my opinion on the logo, I really don't want to insult anybody's work and am happy to go with the flow. Please don't take offence.

Edit

actually having written this and seen the logo again ,  I think it's a grower lol, who can resist that likkle doggy!

Hey guys,

Awesome that Corgi is planning a coinswap and i like the changes especially the change to hybrid but i have some questions.

Doing a coin swap means usually generating current available coins but with new stats on a fresh chain in one or a few blocks and then swap it with exchanges and other people can claim the new Corgi by sending the old Corgi but there will always be unclaimed coins. Coins that got destroyed, people that lost their password etc. What will happen with those coins and are they staking also will there be a website or such where people can swap their coins when they find out the coin did a coinswap and can see all the claimed and unclaimed coins?

Transparancy is key in a coinswap!!

Oke here is what i came up with so far.

Scrypt PoW/PoS hybrid with a total cap of 10 bil coins

60 second blocktime

Difficulty rediff every block

60 confirms on coinbase

10 confirms for transaction but spendable and useable after 1 confirm

10% annual stake rate

1 hours min stake age of coins

60 days max weight age

premine for the swap is done in first 50 blocks of 20 mil coins to get a total of 1 bil for the swap from 100 bil to 1 bil in a rate of 100:1

meaning 100 old coins are granted 1 new coin

mining rewards then till block 500 are 1 to get the chain moving

then till block 1000 rewards will be 10 coins to see if all is working perfect and give all a fair start chance.

from block 1001 the pow block reward will be 100 coins that half approx every 3 yrs

Hope that all are happy with these changes :)

Technical code details to show the swap etc

int64 nSubsidy = 100 * COIN;

if (nHeight < 51)
{
nSubsidy = 20000000 * COIN; // 1 Billion coins for swap of old coins that is maxed at 100 Bil on the old chain
return nSubsidy + nFees;
}
if (nHeight < 501)
{
nSubsidy = 1 * COIN; // 1 coin as start off for new chain and to get it moving
return nSubsidy + nFees;
}
if (nHeight < 1001)
{
nSubsidy = 10 * COIN; // 10 coins to round on the swap some lower and testing
return nSubsidy + nFees;
}
// Subsidy is cut in half every 1,576,800 blocks, which will occur approximately every 3 years
nSubsidy >>= (nHeight / 1576800);

return nSubsidy + nFees;

Thanks Rusher & Miner for all the information.

Hopping in to this project now.  I probably should have crunched some numbers first to see if I can get a bit of profit out of this, but I'm going in raw (blindly) just to support all your guys hard work :D
