Introducing CryptopiaFeeShares (CEFS) Token

https://imgur.com/a/V5ScV

Cryptopia is proud to list the CryptopiaFeesShare (CEFS) token on our exchange and market place - the market is live now. As a champion of blockchain adoption, Cryptopia has upgraded its shareholder dividend method from the traditional mechanisms of paying a fixed amount of dollars in profit to each shareholder. Cryptopia will take 4.5% of its gross fees collected each month for each of the base markets and distribute that portion of the fees among all CEFS holders as at the end of that month. CEFS were created and allocated to our shareholders based on the shares that they owned; 6300 CEFS tokens exist currently and CEFS tokens will not be reissued. Cryptopia has chosen to do this for several reasons:

- So that Cryptopia can modernize its shareholder and equity mechanisms.

- So that CEFS can be a living use case for a blockchain application in a corporate world.

- So that our users can invest or divest in Cryptopia as they wish in an automated manner.

  • 6300 CEFS have been created
  • 4.5% of revenue will go towards the 6300 CEFS tokens
  • CEFS is on the UBIQ platform
  • Payments will be issued at the end of the month to those that have CEFS held in Cryptopia account

How this coin divided betwin shareholders?I don't care who they are but how they get these coin before that its existance ?

and many other questions

This asset was created for Class B shareholders.  Class B shareholders represents less than 5% of all shares and the total of CEFS will recieve 4.5% of gross income generated from the base markets.  CEFS is given to minority shareholders for those that wish to recieve returns for investing in buying shares.  CEFS is availiable in the open market for anyone but the details was only available exclusively to B shareholders in the locked discord channel.  This coin is available to any cryptopia user but created for B shareholders as a return on investment.

aayush: 10/2/2017 3:56:57 PM

seems to represent 100% ownership of 4.5% of Cryptopia's transaction fees.

What I'd like to know:

  1. how were tokens initially distributed? (ignore, answered above)
  2. is the 4.5% share of transaction fees fixed, or could that change?
  3. Is the payout date fixed? (this would lead to accumulation-dump cycles.
  4. Are payouts automatic, or do they need to be initiated by staff?
  5. What currency are payouts made in, and where are they made to?
  6. How is the token secured (if not by a POS or POW distribution mechanism)

4.5% fixed... with some dependencies but we are not going into that

end of month, each base market, by staff most likely, secured by UBIQ fixed asset... all depending

You are NOT a shareholder just because you own CEFS.  CEFS are solutions independent of actual shares themselves.  CEFS payouts are voluntary and could stop if owners decide they absolutely need it for company or if company switches hands.  CEFS are not dividends but they are voluntary expenditures of good will to shareholders or CEFS holders from current owners.  Anyone holding CEFS benefits from this system of shareholder rewards but DO NOT OWN SHARES.  Current owners will do their best to keep payments flowing while in ownership.

payments are handed out at the end of the month

Do we recieve payments in every single currency that is listed on cryptopia, or are the trade fees converted to one particular currency?

~0.0006500 BTC

sheshiresat: 10/4/2017 9:29:51 PM

only the currency that are the base markets (NZDT, LTC, BTC, USDT, DOGE) maybe DOTs if you're lucky

this is very expiremental and extremely technological development.  if all CEFS held inside your Cryptopia balance payout to all those that hold, then CEFS payout page will be available to all that hold CEFS. CEFS payout page will be created.  CEFS was a solution for current shareholders to sell out shareholding in an open exchange.  payouts were exclusive to shareholders but will be open to the public to exchange.  i'd figure it'd be best if you'll wait for CEFS payout page to be created to see if you are included in payments.

CEFS are good if you have time to spare and trust that Cryptopia will be around for a long time. It's really not todays profits I'm looking at, so I hope to see Cryptopia around for many many years to come.

He was just responding with the amount the CEFS paid out last month (for 1 CEFS token). This changes from month to month depending on the revenue Cryptopia gets from fees. There is no minimum or maximum.

Like every Crypto - part of that is speculative. If the dividend payments increase it is likely that the CEFs prices will also increase.
One of the benefits of the CEFs is that it is paid out in NZDT USDT DOT LTC BTC and DOGE
So whether BTC goes up you benefit and when alts go up you benefit. When BTC goes down you benefit and when alts go down you benefit.
Any price movement creates market momentum.

Did anyone get their payout?

I have held CEFS since it was available, but didn't get anything at the end of the month as promised.

Haven´t received my payout yet and cryptopia hasn´t made any announcement regarding this issue. I made a support ticket in hope to get more information about the CEFS payout. A simple announcement by Cryptopia stating ''Due some issues we haven't been able to payout the CEFS holders, please be patient as we get this issue resolved'' would be enough.

Same here, I was told 7 days ago ( Via Ticket,) there was a snapshot taken on the 31st and there would be a payout in this week, that didn't happen.

Why the sudden pick up in price and activity?

I would add the Cryptopia rep was very pleasent with her reply, and I have no reason to think anything fishy or a-rye, but the figure that was given for last months payout would mean a total of 30k had been distributed among 6300 CEFS meaning 4.5% is 30k, and the total pool would be about 570k. I am just going on what little info i have, so dont take this as anything but speculation, and i really wish i didn't have to speculate.

Anyway to further speculate it might be possible to think that figure is low, and that is what had been pushing the price down, that would benifit anyone wanting to scoop it up before the first payout was made.

Again speculation, just that. Nothing more. More information would lead to less speculation.

XYZ8124: 11/13/2017 3:18:25 AM

Where did you get the info on how much the total pool was?

Today I got a reply from my ticket:

Hi Zeewier,

Thank you for contacting Cryptopia support, We are currently undergoing an automation upgrade to the system, a snapshot was taken on the 30th of October. Your portion will arrive once the system has been upgraded, but unfortunately at this time I cannot give you an ETA. We apologise for the delay, and thank you for your patience.

If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact us.

Regards, Cryptopia support.
