How do I cancel my order? / View my Open orders?

There are 3 different ways you are able to view and cancel your open orders on Cryptopia. After you have cancel the open order, the untraded coins that were "held" will be immediately returned to your available balance and be available for your use again.

    1. You can cancel the open orders for the coin you are trading by click the red 'X" shown besides each order you have open in that market:

    2. From your open orders page (https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Trades) you can view and cancel all your open orders accross the exchange:

Are you still charged the fee when you cancel a buy or sell order?

the_game_nerd: 6/23/2017 8:55:26 PM

No, the fees are only taken as the order is fulfilled, be it partial fill or complete it is taken when the trade occurs.

If you cancel an order, you will receive back the full untraded part in your account. :)

Hi, So I just cancelled a partially fulfilled order of selling 0.1 Btc, and then all my coins just vanished to thin air, leaving me with just 0.05 in my btc account, while it should be 0.13 or 0.14btc

I CANCELLED AN ORDER 3 DAYS AGO AND THE BTC WAS NEVER APPLIED BACK TO MY ACCOUNT?????

sonofemerson: 11/27/2017 7:05:08 PM

you cannot "undo" trades by cancelling an order, so if your open order had any trades into then if you cancel you received back the unused BTC that was held for that order.

Check your trade history, and you will see where that BTC you thought was missing was actually used in a trade.

connellcrypto: 12/21/2017 5:38:34 PM

Its immediate, there is no delay.  You will only received back the remaining untraded part of the open order of course

Good Afternoon!
Is it safe to Cancel a Pending order? The amount balance, and remaining balance, are the same amount.
Does that mean, that nothing has went through, and all will be returned, upon cancellation?
Thank you!

Hey.. did you get an answer?

I have an open trade sitting there for more than a day. Does an oper order mean the transaction is not settled? Do we have to cancel or would it take time for it to get settled or raise a ticket to get the open order settled?

Appreciate your help here.

The time it takes to finish an order can range from instant to etiernity... It all depends on when someone fills your order. If you want your order to be filled faster, raise the price. This is a marketplace, It is not like CoinBase where the price that is displayed can be instantly purchased. If no one wants to buy your order, it will not get it filled. Think of the way this site works like Ebay and Coinbase is like Amazon.

Hope this helps. No need to raise a ticket.

The money I spent to buy coins + fees + account balance don’t add up to the amount I deposited. The only thing I can think of is I cancelled some open orders. Could this be the cause of discrepancy?

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this, but if an order is partially filled, does that mean a new order with a different order ID is created for the portion not filled?  Or does that portion keep the same ID that the order had before it was partially filled?
