KDCClicker Testing

KDCClicker is just a working title, if you come up with a better name I'll prolly give you some DOT.

KDCClicker is a faucet game I'm working on for DOT. The game is a basic mining simulation, you start out with a Pentium I miner and hash KimDotCoins which you can then use to either buy bigger better miners to mine more KDC with, or convert into DOT which you can then withdraw.

If you'd like to check it out and help test you can register here: http://104.232.37.135/

I must stress, that you are helping test a site that is very early in its development. There will likely be many wipes, do not get heavily invested in your game progress.

All of the basic functionality is implemented and working, the display and informational side is currently heavily lacking.

You can deposit DOT, but you cannot see your deposits history or deposit status, your balance will just appear once confirmed.

You can withdraw DOT, but you cannot see your withdraw history or withdraw  status.

You can buy KDC with DOT, 1 KDC costs 1,000 DOT

You can buy DOT with KDC, 1 DOT costs 1 KDC

You can buy miners with KDC, the price of miners increases based on how many you already own

You can sell miners for KDC for 80% of what you initially paid for them

You will recieve mining payouts every hour, you cannot see your payout history or tell when the payouts are going to happen yet.

It's back up.

Everyone has been credited back their DOT and has no miners or KDC again.

I also changed the stats on the miners and added some new ones.

You now gotta login with your username instead of email address.

If you registered pre-usernames I've set your username to your Cryptopia chathandle, except for one person who used a different email to their cryptopia account.

Hi :)

Very nice concept, as usual from you. I've tried it today and there seems no problems of working :

  • I can deposit DOT and trade/change them to KDC easily (I've tried with like 3.8K DOT)
  • I can buy miners after
  • Nice to see incomes each minutes

Just some ideas : I think it's too easy to get incomes, for example if I invest 1M DOT in this "game" I'll probably get a lot of incomes in a few... maybe hard to handle in an everyday basis... ? but yes to get 3 KDC I need to put 3K DOT so maybe it's a good way of work... I don't know if in long term it'll be good for you ?

I hope this "faucet" will go live, and maybe more close to "real" mining (like power costs, real miners names (real hashrates), maybe a "fake" virtual blockchain with random luck etc...).

Nice idea, and keep going this good work :)

Testing was just using a cheap disposable VPS during development.

KDCClicker is going down until the new web server is provisioned and the next release is ready.

When KDCClicker comes back up it will be live.

I do not have an ETA yet.
