how to exchange dotcoin from the old wallet to the new one? what kind of algorithm? how to mine?

Thread: DotCoin(DOT)

Wrong. It went from Scrypt Algo proof of work to being a Ubiq Token (not POS). There was a coinswap for the new Tokenised DOT. The old DOT (DOTold) chain is now a seperate chain to the new DOT blockchain. The DOTold has little or no value.   The final date to swap your DOT will be the 29th of October 2017. After this date we will still consider swaps but we will process them manually via Support Tickets.  Cutoff Block: 1,200,000 - any coins mined after the cutoff block are not eligible to be swapped.  Cryptopia has no control over the DOTold network and it may be that the nodes are now dead.

Thread: DotCoin(DOT)

Hi. I've been trying to make sense of Dot coin for a couple intensive days.  There appears to be some misleading info here.  If I'm wrong, please forgive me and correct my conclusions. Was there a fork where the coin went from Proof Of Work(scrypt) to Proof of Stake (ubiq)?  I spent a day mining the old coin, thinking I'm savvy, when the coins are two seperate algorithms. Is this correct?  Is there an option for the coins ive mined?  The Mac wallet wont sync as there are no block sources connected.  Any further enlightenment would be appreciated. Thanks :)

Hi - I've by accident made the same mistake. Is there anyway to retrace those tokens? As per usual Cryptopia support is of absolutely no use, so curious to see if anybody here knows a way to help out. Thanks.

Thread: DotCoin(DOT)

I got a few referrals and had 34,000 dot.  I have never seen one hit my account.  And now I have 19400.  So this is all bullshit?  It's been 3 months

Thread: DotCoin(DOT)

Same thing here... Zero updates from Cryptopia and no answers to any of my support tickets since January 26th.....

Thread: DotCoin(DOT)

Same thing here... I opened a support ticket on January 26th and still no answer. Waiting almost two months now. This is unacceptable.

Its not an ETH token, its a UBIQ token.  You need to export the privatekey for the address you sent those DOT to, and then import the privatekey into a wallet that is designed for UBIQ.

Thread: DotCoin(DOT)

Hello everyone... I too have sent my DOT to MEW but they didn't show... have I been stupid? I did this last month... any help on this?

Thread: DotCoin(DOT)

im dunmb thanks for repeating it difrently

Thread: DotCoin(DOT)

This thread is for the Dotcoin which was a PoW coin with its own wallet and blockchain.  There was a Use Pyrus () or Fusion (_ or Ledger Hardware wallet with the UBIQ app installed.

this reply shows up as gobbdly gook i ll delete in a min to show its not worth posting    other wise leave it here till the end of time to confuse others as to wether crypto is a good idea

Thread: DotCoin(DOT)

Not sure what is unclear about it, you can't use the old DOT address, you withdraw to your UBIQ address which is a completle different format.

Thread: DotCoin(DOT)

should i repeat what i  just said?   they dont work togather addess is invalid

Thread: DotCoin(DOT)

The new Dotcoin is a DOT token/asset on the UBIQ blockchain, just withdraw DOT to one of your UBIQ wallet addresses.  Use Pyrus () or Fusion (_ or Ledger Hardware wallet with the UBIQ app installed,
