I heard it was ASB.... a rather provincial bank if there ever was one. I find it incredible that there is no information to be had as to when/ if another NZ bank will be able to service Cryptopia. As it stands, we now effectively have funds in limbo.... Edit... ok, I found this on the news site here. Not much information as to whether NZDT will be viable in the near future.... ''We will update on the NZDT deposits, LTC and DOGE markets as soon as we have some news. NZDT withdrawals are still open and will be until the 31st of March at this stage.''
and if you are having problems can you tells us in more detail what the problem is etc... Would love to know which bank decided this, so we can all boycott those idiots!
Would love to know more as well, what are the plans to fix the situation move to a different bank etc... and what progress been made so far. Be nice to have an ETA or just tell us that nah it wont be possible so we can forget about NZDT and look for alternative methods!
It's obvious that Cryptopia doesn't care about our stolen money. In fact, I would assume that they are directly involved in stealing the funds. Most of the stolen money goes to the same wallet address and they still allow withdraws to that wallet address to go through. I will be starting a civil claim against Cryptopia, if anyone wants to join me in this endevor please e-mail me at .
I have been waiting over a month for my deposit. I was told about an exchange is Australia that takes NZD deposits, the sign up was easy and they confirmed my membership within one hour, i haven't deposited any money in yet but will this week. They answered a question for me online within 30 mins as well www.independentreserve.com
Hi, i made a deposit on the 24th of january from kiwibank and it still hasnt show up on cryptopia so far. I opened a ticket but there is like a month waiting. I did another deposit 2 week prior this one and it was credited after 1 buisness day same ref so i don't get why this one is stuck. Need some support, anyone else having issue with nzd deposit? How long have you been waiting. I'm a bit concerne with the closure of their bank account.
Hi, Look at & Ive been using them since Cryptopia stopped deposits and been good. The site offers a full ESCROW service, so just create an account and verify it, then find a deal with a seller that has reasonable number of positive trades.MAKE SURE the sellers deposits the BTC / ETH into the ESCROW before you send them the bank transfer. It's a bit fiddler sure, and prices can be maybe a bit higher, but it's reasonably quick once you get used to it and saves overseas hassle and charges. Rich
